Over the past several months, Blade has worked closely with high end real estate developer Simon Hirsh to complete a brand update and create new online assets that fit the outstanding nature of the work he does in his the world of home building.
Blade was responsible for updating and repositioning the brand from Hirsh Designs to Simon Hirsh Designs, and by extension bringing Simon’s personal reputation of excellent work to mind every time the brand’s name is read or spoken. This update included a new logo, designed in house by Blade for the new brand direction.
Here’s what Blade President and Chief Creative Officer, Wayne S. Roberts has to say about the project,
“Updating the Hirsh brand began by understanding the complementary markets that needed to be addressed.
Our strategic insight was to create distinct but connected brands linking Simon Hirsh, the creative force, and Simon Hirsh, the luxury condo developer.
Simon Hirsh Designs was born first. From the original icon to the website and brand motion picture, the look and feel is understated and confident. Just like Simon.
For the newly minted Hirsh Development Group, strength and commitment were key emotions we wanted to communicate. Again, from the icon and messaging to the motion picture and micro sites, including Edgewater Muskoka and 200 Russell Hill, the Company displays breadth and excellence – with Simon backing every play as the visionary and builder.
In both cases, we felt strongly that Simon needed to “come alive” as the namesake of both brand. We recommended video as a key deliverable and directed the brand motion pictures that capture his passion for designing and building.
Creating this integrated branding solution was a pleasure. Challenging, but still, lots of fun and adventure.”
Blade also designed and developed two key websites for Simon Hirsh and Simon Hirsh Designs, incorporating stunning creative assets to a functional and visually appealing to potential clients of the brand.
As you’ll see on both websites, new video creative was also completed for the Simon Hirsh Designs project, with Blade taking the lead in the initial planning process. Storyboarding, initial interview capture, scripting, and creative direction were all provided by Blade in the video creation process, and with the additional work of Riley Lake the finished products are an excellent representation of the brand and a great fit with the websites.
We look forward to working with Simon and his brand as they continue to build great custom homes for customers with great taste.
