2 major changes appeared this morning.
1) Date selection for posts has changed to a calendar format rather than a bulky drop-down menu that made the last 10 days of the month a pain to work with depending on the size of your monitor.
2) Time selection now includes 5 minute intervals allowing for more control and precision when scheduling brand page posts.
It’s a move that has been welcomed with open arms and will help community managers post their content with more control of timing and a much easier process.
At this point it is unknown if more changes are coming, or why these changes were rolled out today. Either way, as Bitstrips Community Manager, Dana Herlihey tweeted: re FB scheduling update – I like it, but this should have been the way scheduling functioned in the first place…
What we do know is that Facebook has made many community managers happy this morning.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if there are more changes coming to make the day-to-day use of Brand Page posts more convenient as Facebook looks to convince more brands to spend on sponsored and boosted posts.
